Pursuant to the notice given to all members of Jaypee Sport City Welfare Society, as per its byelaws’, following meeting was held as per the details given below and minutes recorded.

1. Opening Words by President of Society

 

Meeting started by Mr. R P Maurya, President of the society and welcomed all members to the meeting and thanked them for their continuous support to society.

 

2. Presentation of Audited Financial Statement of Society and clarifications

 

Audited Financial Statements for AY 2022-23 were presented to all present members of society by Mr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Vice President of the society and all income and expense details for the year were explained to all members of society. Audited Financial Statements were approved by all members.

 

3. Update on status of Legal Case in Allahabad High Court and next course of action.

 

Dr. Advocate Chakit Singhal, Executive Member of Society updated all present members of society and many members asked various legal questions and were answered by Dr. Singhal. Issue of approaching Supreme Court of India was raised by some members to seek relief from Jaiprakash Associates and direct intervention from Supreme Court of India and it was again reiterated that this is not possible till present Writ Civil 6049/2020 is not decided by Allahabad High Court and example of cases of Amrapali and Unitech are not correct examples to compare with due to different circumstances of cases. It was agreed that if Allahabad High Court does not grant us appropriate relief Society shall approach Supreme Court of India.

 

4. Proposal to change multiple dates for payment of membership fee as per date of joining to single date for all members to pay membership fee once in a year between 01st April to 30th April of every year, irrespective of their date of joining, starting 1st April 2024 for FY 2024-25. Adjustments will be made one time on pro-rata basis to calculate fee for FY 2024-25 for existing members and be notified.

 

Issue of Annual Membership Fee collection was discussed, and it was agreed by all members that annual membership fee for each Financial Year shall be demanded and collected on start of Financial Year from 01st April and shall be accounted for that FY accordingly, instead of collecting Annual Membership Fee as per date of joining of members. No membership fee will be collected till 01st April 2024, unless fee is due for last 2 years, 2022 and 2023.

 

As of 31st March 2024, all members shall have paid Rs. 4000 as Legal Contribution Fund, one time contribution and annual membership fee for each Financial Year, since their membership start date and year.

 

An Statement of Account will be sent to all members in March/April 2024 and any pending dues as well as Membership Fee for 2024-25 shall be demanded.

Q & A Session – 45 Minutes. Members asked various general questions in regard to legal cases, expectations in future and finances of society and same were answered by Mr. R P Maurya, Mr. Sunil Sharma and Dr. Chakit Singhal.

 

Meeting was called to an end at 10.30 PM and President thanked all members again to join the meeting and for their continuous support .
