NOTICE OF ELECTION

Subject: Election of Members of Governing Body
Dear All,
This is to notify to all members of Society, that term of present Governing Body shall end on 21st June 2022, completing 2 Years since its inception on 22 June 2022.
In terms of byelaws of Society, election of new Governing Body shall be held before 07th June 2022 and new Governing Body shall take over from 22nd June 2022.
Following procedure shall be followed for the election of Governing Body as per rules in byelaws together with authority and power given to President of Society to make rules where none exist in byelaws.
- President shall appoint Chief Election Officer by 20th April 2022 along with 2 more members to assist him in process if required.
- List of Eligible Members shall be published on website of Society by 30th April 2022. Only those members who has joined the society before 20th April 2022 and has paid all dues of society shall be eligible for voting.
- Any objection to list shall be raised with President of the Society and his decision on exclusion or inclusion of a member to the list.
- Election shall be held for 9 Governing Body members, if there is nomination for 9 or less than 9 members, then they shall be considered elected automatically. If nomination is for more than 9 members, then election shall take place by electronic means using digital medium such portal of Right2vote.com.
- Portal for voting shall remain open for voting from 1st June to 7th June 2022 and information about process shall be sent to members by their registered email and various groups on WhatsApp and Telegram.
- Any person wishing to contest shall be proposed by minimum 2 members of society who are eligible for voting, by filling the nomination form and signed by proposers to Chief Election Officer by 10th May 2022, by email.
- Chief Election Officer shall announce the list of nominated members by 15th May 2022.
- After election of new Governing Body Members, they shall hold it Governing Body Meeting and choose one among themselves as Presiding Officer of society and shall choose President of Society by 2/3rd majority.
- Chosen President then shall appoint from elected governing body members other working mebers to posts of Vice President, General Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Treasurer, one each and two Executive Members.
- There shall be resolution passed for above appointments and signed by all elected members or at least approved by 2/3rd of elected members.
- All Documents related to process of election and resolution shall be submitted to Registrar of Societies by 25th June 2022.
Any objections to these rules and process can be sent to President of the Society at his email address president@jpscws.com before 18th April 2022 and President shall consider the objection and accept or reject a change and his decision shall be final and binding.
